Q: How long did it take you to feel some relief from stomach pain?

Hard to believe because I have been in pain for so long but I actually felt relief after one day. My stomach has calmed down and the sharp pains and burning are gone!

Q: what's the difference between this product and acid soothe by enzymedica?

As others have stated, Acid Soothe contains far less of zinc carnosine (2 mg, vs. 75 mg) but the main difference is Acid Soothe contains enzymes and herbs and this product does not. I take both. When I first was diagnosed with gastritis, I took multiple doses of Acid Soothe per day to control pain and to help heal my stomach lining. It stopped the pain within 20 minutes and worked better than any prescription product or supplement I had tried previously. Now I only take it sporadically for discomfort because it still works the best to stop any pain quickly; I believe the marshmallow root and papaya leaf are a great combination. I can go weeks at a time without taking any. I take this product (Doctor's Best Zinc Carnosine) as directed, twice per day during or after meals. I've been doing this for 2 years now and although my gastritis isn't gone, I believe it's much more manageable without having to take prescription medication, which didn't work anyway.

Q: Non-gmo, vegan, gluten free, soy free, but it has silicone dioxide? why?

I read that silicon dioxide is used as an anticaking agent, but I would write to the manufacturer for a specific answer. In supplements, "it's used to prevent the various powdered ingredients from sticking together." This quote is from this website: http://www.healthline.com/health/food-nutrition/is-silicon-dioxide-in-supplements-safe This website also said it is a naturally found substance in green leafy vegetables, beets, bell peppers, brown rice, oats and alfalfa.

Q: it says take on empty stomach-how many minutes do u wait til u eat or minutes after u eat ??? TY

On some of these studies, if you take it at least 30 mins before a meal (empty stomach!!) the effects are quick about 15 mins. With a meal the benefits are less but still works. For those having issues sleeping, take these pills during the days, you don’t have to take the second pill at night. The recommended dosage is far less than the maximum intake of Zinc L-Carnosine before by side effects, if there is any anyway.
