The screen protector worked nicely. The case doesn't really latch closed, just kinda hugs the phone which makes me feel of I did drop it, it would fall off. The case itself scratches easily. I like the color and the feel of it feels nice. It's very compact and slim which makes it feel like a second skin to the phone.
