Where is this product manufactured?** A: This tweezer is designed by Bob Terzuola(USA) and made in CHINA. **Q: What is the purpose of making the tweezers retractable? It doesn't seem like an advantage in anyway. More moving parts, more points of failure?** A: The retractable design makes the tweezers safer and more convenient to carry. **Q: Where is this made? In China.... not interested.** A: I believe most if not all Civivi products are made in China. That said every Civivi item I own and use are very good for the price and the quality is outstanding. They're not my go to pocket knives but I do know plenty of people that carry them confidently. I got 2 Elementums for my 2 nephews 1st knives this Christmas. I own these tweezers and I like them very much. **Q: Can I use these for my eyebrows?** A: Thank you for your support. The tweezer is designed with a precision sharp tip for splinters and small items, not for eyebrows. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth the extra money *by on Reviewed in the United States August 3, 2024* Yeah they're about 50% more expensive ($10) than a comparable pair of regular tweezers but being able to retract and lock them into a protective metal built-in case means the tip doesn't get all screwed up from banging around inside my toolbags.For construction these things are a godsend, absolutely must have. Idga f how safe you are or what gloves you wear you're going to get a sliver eventually, wood or metal. These things work great on both, couple guys on my crew ended up buying their own after using them, the geometry and stiffness of the metal is just so superior to other tweezers.The needle point is VERY strong and you can dig around in flesh easily to grab even the most stubbornly buried sliver.Only downside is it's made in China, Civivi is a chinese company but the build quality is superb on these things and even with rough use I don't think you'll ever break or bend them, they're VERY robust. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These are just the best ever! *by on Reviewed in the United States July 3, 2026* These are just the best ever! I’ve had these for about 6 months. My 3 year old is extremely prone to getting splinters, so I use these pretty regularly. They just work so well. I’m able to get splinters out in seconds, that may have taken a lot of effort to get out with plain tweezers. I needed a pair of tweezers for use at work, i get a lot of metal slivers as a body tech, and i found these little guys. I wasn't sure what to expect from "precision" tweezers but it sounded like what i was looking for.After using these for a few months i can definitely confirm that they are insanely precise. the tips close together perfectly aligned and they are very sharp tipped. They are almost too precise sometimes as i feel like i need a magnifying glass to see what the tips are actually grabbing if its a really tiny sliver. the scroll lock device is a nice design, keeps the sharp tweezers from coming out and poking you on accident. they are super sturdy and feel like they're made of really high quality steel. They're easy to use and put back in their leather case, however the case doesn't really fit the tweezers all that well with the wheel lock being a bit bulky.All in all great little tweezers that feel like they will probably last a lifetime.
