Not just the cable part?** A: No, just the cable. We have plans to make a floating sensor for pools, but until then, you need to put the sensor where it will not be submerged. This is not a fully company-encouraged solution but some customers put these in a tupperware style sealed container, drill a hole for the probe, caulk that up, and leave it to float in the pool or hot tub.
