I got the 100' premium cable, put the 874 on a mic stand, and plotted it all around the room with an RF Explorer, viewing the RF on my laptop. I was able to face the antenna away from the TV towers, and also back it up against a metal-framed pillar, and those two changes reduced the RF noise across the H5 spectrum. Will soon know if it helped... **Q: Do i need two for blx24r?** A: Yes, for true diversity to work, you need two antennas to get best performance. A good antenna for specific wireless microphones. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I thought I would try these first before going all in and throwing down for the ULXD Quad set up which would have taken around 1 *by F***. on 7 July 2014* I was running two BLX4R with BLX1 Bodypacks for a ceremony sounds system going through an antenna distribution system with 1/2 wave antennas and I would still experience drops even though I was only 100 feet away. Since receiving my "paddles" I have run three ceremonies in a row where I was close to the 300' range and it was clear as day… no pops, no hisses, no drops! I thought I would try these first before going all in and throwing down for the ULXD Quad set up which would have taken around 10K and I am glad that I did. ## Frequently Bought Together - Shure UA874US Active Directional UHF Antenna with Gain Switch (470-698 MHz), Black - Shure UA844+SWB Five-way Active Antenna Splitter & Power Distribution System for QLX-D, ULX, ULX-D, SLX & BLX4R Receivers - MOOKEERF BNC Cable - 25FT RG58 50 ohm Male to Male Coax Cables Low Loss BNC Extension Coaxial Cable with for Antennas, RF Radios, Modems, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum, etc (Black) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.br/products/344039040-shure-ua874us-active-directional-uhf-antenna-with-gain-switch-470](https://www.desertcart.com.br/products/344039040-shure-ua874us-active-directional-uhf-antenna-with-gain-switch-470) --- *Product available on Desertcart Brazil* *Store origin: BR* *Last updated: 2026-10-25*
