Review: Great deal for the money. - Great unit. Lots of options for testing. Cheers
Review: Great tool to have - Nice product. The photos are outdated, although some customer photos are correct -- this DOES test USB-C. I've only had it a day but tested multiple XLR, 1/4", and various USB-type cables. I quickly found the 1 XLR that had kept failing me at gigs but then ended up back in the pile with all the other cables. I haven't had any problems with the battery compartment, as had been reported by others. One note: pay attention to your battery strength. I initially thought this was defective because the battery indicator would light bright green but individual line lights were very faint (to the point that I was testing cables in a dark closet). Turned out my 9v battery only had 3v left, and that appeared to affect the lines being tested but not the battery indicator. Weird. In any event, I put in a new 9v battery and all is well. Great tool to have.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it have LATCHING capability for detecting very intermittent connections?**
A: Sorry, we are not sure whether intermittent connections are equivalent to pulse signals. If so, the cable tester cannot work well with that since it is designed for testing circuit roads, short circuits, or misconnection.

**Q: Need video options like thunderbolt (all versions), displayport all versions, hdmi (all versions), dvi (yes, all versions), and vga. suggestions?**
A: We are not offering all version video cable tester currently. We will try to contact you if that is available.

**Q: Hdmi is in the photo but not on the list in the description. can it test hdmi?**
A: Yes, this cable tester can test HDMI cables.

**Q: What is it powered by?**
A: 9 volt battery

This is a fantastic piece of equipment. I had so many same type of cables I had no idea if they were data or charging. This tester allowed me to separate types, working or not working cables.
