This one is polypropylene, BPA-free. If you look at their product support section they give a complete description of each material used in their manufacturing. Why don't you contact them? This is their website: http://hutzlerco.com/ **Q: What's the difference between one piece and two piece?** A: "1 piece" is one top and one bottom; this will hold 1 cut grapefruit (1/2)2 pieces is double, so two tops and two bottoms. Two will hold both halves, separately, of a single grapefruit. If you buy 2 of the "1 piece," it's the same as a single order of the "2 piece." **Q: Is there any difference between the tomato saver and onion saver? Can I keep an onion in the tomato saver and get the same results?** A: No difference if you prefer to keep one saver for the onion and tomato. My idea is to rather have two different savers so I know where i kept an onion and where I kept a tomato. It is really up to you. **Q: Why is the red onion saver more expensive than the yellow?** A: Supply and demand. Vendors will raise the price on more popular items. Happens all the time at AMZN. There is some cat food that is now near impossible to get and the price has gone up 2-3 times what it use to be. If you want it you have to pay the price. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product *by B***S on Reviewed in Canada on 19 June 2023* This keeps the mushrooms from getting wet and soggy. So good ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Received merchandise intact and undamaged. *by L***T on Reviewed in the United States on 13 January 2019* This is a very cute container to put in the frig and to store my mushroom. My only complain is that it is too small. Currently I tried to fill it with cremini mushroom which were even smaller size than the button mushroom. Sadly I could only shove in the container 12. To save the guessing game of the size I provided the measurement. The base is approx. 13 1/4 " . Keep in mind the container becomes narrow as it reaches the top; I measured 11.75" in the middle . The opening diameter is 11.5 " . The cap is domed shape so if you want to shove more mushroom in the container you risk having it smashed in. Over all it's a cute container. I wish though it could've been bigger. I don't regret buying it but I end up having to store the remaining mushrooms I had in another container. So to solve that problem, I just have to buy another container. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Cute but too small *by R*** on Reviewed in Australia on 3 April 2023* This is cute, but ultimately doesn't store much in the way of mushrooms. It barely holds a small punnet of mushrooms from the supermarket. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hutzler BPA free plastic Mushroom Saver, Brown - Hutzler Classic Onion Saver, Yellow - Tomato Saver by Gourmac --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.br/products/336615924-349br-plastic-mushroom-saver-1-piece-brown](https://www.desertcart.com.br/products/336615924-349br-plastic-mushroom-saver-1-piece-brown) --- *Product available on Desertcart Brazil* *Store origin: BR* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
