I travel oversea multiple time per year and I've used it on every trips. This includes a lot of walking, taking european public transport and cobblestones, sitting on it etc. In 10 years, I just had a wheel that popped off when getting my luggage back from the plane. I assume the person loading it must have pulled the suitcase by the wheel instead than by the handle. I was able to replace the wheel (which was actually tricky). Otherwise it's been very sturdy. The feature I like the most is that it is a very light suitcase. I like to pack a lot so having a light suitcase is important to not pay extra for weight once at the airport. It rolls really well too. One negative comment would be that it is a single-pole handle, therefore it makes it more difficult to pull the suitcase with a backpack on top of it as the backpack does not have two poles to rest against and ends up falling. Love this suitcase, would highly recommend! But this luggage case handle was broken the first time I used it to travel to China at the airport as I carried it down from the car. It was a miserable experience with this case as I could not return it from China and I have to bring it back with my bear 2 hands from China in order to get it repaired. I wrote to the seller and telling that I was on my way to China and would be back after 2 months. The seller told me that I would pass the date for a return after I came back from China. The only thing you can do is to send to the manufacturer for repair at my own cost for shipping. I could not receive email until I came back and I wrote to seller again and they never answered my email. I called Samsonite for advice and they told me the same story that I could not return anymore and I have sent on my own expense to repair. I feel that I have been cheated for the best quality luggage suite case. Ours managed to get a very large dent on its first trip. While we could get most of the dent out, a little one still remains which never happened with our other similar lightweight Samsonite suitcase.
