Original straps are impossible to find and most of the generic battery straps are too short / too long. I came across this one and based on the dimensions it sounded like it might work, so I grabbed one. I chose wisely as it fits almost perfect. It's got a bit of tension to hold things in place, but not too much to where I feel like the band is going to rip through the metal hooks. The hooks themselves are a bit large (tall), but they work so no biggie. I've only had it on the bike for a few weeks so I can't speak to the durability, but the construction appears decent so I'd expect it to hold as long as any other rubber strap would.
