My solution solved 2 issues. I was able to hide power box and all the cords along with increasing the height another 7 inches. **Q: I got the cufeal 3-pack 400mm 15-3/4" long straight pipe with couplings (m16) but connectors are too thin for lamp?  how do you make this work ?.**
A: Just screw them together.

**Q: Is the silver/black part metal or plastic?**
A: All the black part is metal and the white part is plastic but remember it’s LED so it doesn’t get hot
We really like it and certainly a conversation piece

**Q: Is the light color able to change?**
A: It’s all on the remote

**Q: Is there an extension tube available to make it taller?  Maybe 2 feet.  If not what are the dimensions of the pipe thread, that I can make one myself?**
A: Hi. I do not have an extension tube available. But the tubing is approximately 2cm by 1cm. The tubing has a slight outdent for the lamp. It seems like it does have an opening to be able to extend it as well.

It’s gorgeous, easy to install I could do it myself and I’m a bonehead when it comes to installation and putting things together. Love the different brightness and temperatures and the remote is great!
