Most YouTube capo the 1st then hold the string at whatever fret is closest to the body then slide the feeler in between usually the 8th. So the tolerance is different. So technically they're both right. Depends on how you do it. **Q: How to use use this gauge on Taylor Baby, which is a short neck. Same way at 6th fret?** A: It should work on the 6th fret.
