**Q: What does the bottom of this look like? I need one that has a 10-sided 'flower' on the bottom where the turning device fits in.**
A: The bottom of this looks like a flower petal.

**Q: Has anyone ever successfully made 2 batches of ice cream without re-freezing the canister between productions?**
A: I have tried it and no, the second batch did NOT freeze up properly. Since I often have two flavors when I entertain, or need more than 1 and 1/2 quarts of ice cream, I bought a second canister. NOW I can make two batches in a row.

**Q: Is it possible to buy a lid for this? It would help keep the ice cream fresh and also keep the bowl clean when sitting in the freezer.**
A: The lids for the Pyrex 1.75 qt round glass storage container fit this ice cream container perfectly.

**Q: Will this work, if i want to use it to transfer the ice cream i made? to keep the ice cream cold for a longer time during the travel? say 30 minutes?**
A: Yes, I re-freeze this after making sorbet/ice cream and then put the frozen treat in a container that fits inside. I thencover with another cold/freezer pack and put in cooler bag. After 1.5 hours of driving the sorbet was still solid.
