They are easier to use in tight spaces and sealed properly! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No leaks and easy install *by M***3 on October 22, 2024* This coupling saved me a lot of time and money. Installing a sump pump system in the basement I made a bad cut. Cutting the pipe too short, I felt my only option was to take everything apart and but new pieces. After some thought I started looking for something that would fill the gap and ran across this. I installed in in less than 5 min. Hand tightened and no leaks. The only prep I did was to clean the pipe where this was to be installed. Just a tiny bit tricky sliding on the rubber o-ring type pieces but no big deal. I was truly amazed that by just gently hand tightening these I had no leaks. I was really expecting to have to get a tool on it. This was perfect for 1" PVC. Don't listen to the comments regarding being a bad fit or leaking.
