The only reason I can think this would be is if they got something they were not expecting, and that SHOULD be hard since Max does a great job of photographing their products. If you don't find enough photos, go to Maxpedition's main website and look up the product. It will show you ALL views of the product, typically inside and out, and show it attached to gear and/or a person. You should know EXACTLY what you are getting. I got a couple of the pockets to use inside various other products (one a UTG messenger bag - like a Fatboy, only less expensive, but surprisingly great quality), and the other a Falcon II. Most of the back of the pocket is hook & loop to attach to velcro, which Max and others have inside some of there bags. I guess you could attach to outside a bag as well, but I would not want to do this since it does not have any Molle/pals webbing to secure it. The material on this is a bit more flexible than the material used on their main packs & add-ons. Zipper is still the hard-use type with the paracord pulls. Inside are two elastic loops along the back 'wall' of the pocket, to secure possibly a multitool, or other implement (I haven't tried it, but I think it is wide enough for a single stack pistol mag as well, altho' that was not my intent with this product). I purchased to use more as a 'catch-all' for smaller items within the UTG bag (my pistol range bag), and to carry some cash, change, etc. as well as to hold the pistol site wrenches, earplugs, etc. In my Falcon, I will probably set it up as a firestarter and water purifier 'kit'. It is big enough to accommodate plenty of items for both. These only come in the one color, but since it is supposed to go inside the outter gear, it actually makes it easier to see against the black of my packs. Why do I continue to buy Max when I could probably find cheaper alternatives? Well, they have a great selection, and their items are well-made, bar none. As I mentioned, I have the UTG, which I found excellent quality, and I have a VooDoo Tactical soft side 36" gun case that was less expensive but top quality as well in materials and construction. As I said, there is NO excuse to not know what you are getting - READ the description, and if you have to pull out something to measure dimensions, than do it. Happy to help. Got my 3 x 5 pouch and a stack of 3 x 5 cards and did some experimenting. When I aligned the long axis (5) of the cards with the long axis of the pouch, I could get a single card into the pouch easily, but the bottom corners (inside the pouch) bent over a little. The entire card fit into the pouch, but the top corners (zipper side of the pouch) were sticking out. This pouch has dual full size zippers. I could zip them up each side, but to turn the corner and zip them together at the top, the corners of the card had to be tucked inside a little. Tucking the corners, even gently, resulted in the corners being bent about 1/8 inch. Because of the interior seams associated with the zippers are a little bulky, a 1 inch stack of cards could be inserted with a little effort, but the zippers could only zip up to the corner, and not around the corner or over the top to complete closure. Once again, because this is a soft pouch, the corners inside the pouch suffered. Look at the picture of the pouch. 3 inches high by 5 inches wide. If you want to carry the cards upright in the pouch, the fit is of course much more loose. The zippers can turn the corners, but because now the cards protrude about 1 1/4 inches out of the pouch, they can't zip closed. With the cards in either orientation, when the pouch was oriented as it is in the picture, the cards were pretty secure in the pouch without the zippers completely closed. But any time the pouch was inverted, with the zippers not completely closed, the cards always fell out. Completely closing the pouch always resulted in bent corners, and became more difficult as the stack of cards got thicker. It took a little effort and tucking to completely close the pouch with a 1/4 inch thick stack of cards. Sorry - long answer to a short question. Just wanted you to have enough information to make a good decision. Pouch construction is EXCELLENT. Maxpedition pouches are always thoughtfully designed and superbly constructed, consistently displaying high quality materials and attention to detail. The basic dimensions are correct, and even a little roomy, but the corners are very snug. **Q: Does this product have a belt loop? What is a "fully backed hook field"?** A: No, it does not. It has a Velcro backing that allows it to be attached to internal pockets of some Maxpedition gear.
