This 6 pack certainly fit the bill. These pairs rise about 6" above the heel and fit comfortably all day long. I have thicker legs so I'm always worried about the elastic band at the top of the sock so that it doesn't fit too snugly and cut off circulation. These socks don't do that. I've also washed these socks more than ten times and they still hold their fit and elasticity. However, one of the pairs I received had a looser fit at the top than the other five, but it was still wearable and fine.
