It is a variation on a "laptop cajon" or "slaptop cajon". You can't sit on it (or play it no-handed) like a traditional cajon, but it is easier to play sitting up straight like many other types of hand drums. It has excellent sound quality. **Q: Does Meinl make a travel case for this?
