It's reflective on both sides. Its strong and durable. I've re-used this mylar on both sides of my indoor greenhouse where I grow tomatoes and perennial flowers. **Q: How thin is this in mils? 2mil? 1mil? 1/2mil? 1/4mil?** A: THE FILM IS VERY THIN AND CAN BE SEEN THROUGH IN CERTAIN LIGHT. They work very well for eye-shading. As you move the material it tends to wrinkle and where it wrinkles you can see that some of the reflective material rubs off. This seems like a natural occurance. You can see the rubbed off areas where the new sheet was orginally folded in the first (brightest) picture. The sheets are very, VERY thin, but they have been durable, despite the ruboff. And they are inexpensive, so you can just replace the sheets when they get too worn.
