Review: Excellent replacement for factory battery - UPDATE: Dec. 2025 I have lost count of how many cycles I've gotten out of these batteries, but I have to say, it's been four years of service. I have upgraded to Five stars. Initially I rated Four stars because one of them went bad soon after purchase. It was replaced no charge, and ever since then both have provided great performance. HIGHLY recommended. I am ordering two more. Initial review from 2011: It makes a nice impression when a manufacturer includes a safety cover on these camera batteries, since it protects from possible electrical shorts and dirt on the exposed contacts. These batteries have now been through about a dozen recharging cycles and easily outperform the factory battery, even when it was new. The power rating is higher on these batteries, which can sometimes mean a significant trade-off in the total number of recharge cycles available until the battery is exhausted and must be replaced. At this price, the higher capacity is worth that tradeoff should this be the case. Physical fit is excellent; snaps into place as it should, and the construction of the outer plastic is as good as the factory original. Recommended.
