The size looks similar enough.** A: no ! Its too big ! **Q: Does it fit the Pelican Air 1615 Case?** A: It does not without some serious finesse. I bought it for my 1615 but decided to return it. The lid organizer is rigid and you would need to bend the top and bottom 90 degrees in order to have the middle sit flush with the lid on the case. When mounting with the screws provided, secure the two center screws first and then screw down the corners in an 'x' pattern . . . it will be a tight fit and you'll find you may need to angle the screw to get it lined up and started, but it will pull straight and sit perfectly.
