Review: Small & Light Way To Stay Warm In An Emergency - Winter is almost here and I like to keep a couple of these in my vehicle in case of a cold weather emergency. The carry bag it comes in is not much larger than a paperback book. The reflective surface on the inside keeps body heat in. The carry bags are large enough that I also carry a space blanket (same idea) with the sleeping bag. These will not replace your regular 4-season sleeping bag, but if you have a breakdown in cold weather it might keep you alive until help arrives. Like most similar products, it could be a challenge to fold it up correctly to get it back in the bag, but they are inexpensive enough that the cost for a single use isn't a burden.
