In addition, they will cut to your specifications. Although some reviewers reported that this product was much less than 0.2 inches, the company specifically told me that the thickness was 0.2 inches. You can always return the product to Amazon within 30 days, if it is not as advertised. **Q: If I just hold up the cloth will it still filter air as the air flows, if I don’t buy the machine?** A: No, this is not how filters work. Air must be forced through a very fine media otherwise it would take the path of least resistance and simply move around the filter. Also this is not a filter, It is a prefilter that absorbs odors. **Q: What are the fibers made of?** A: They are a soft plastic foam similar to what you find on a window airconditioning unit **Q: Does this contain fiber glass? Would this be ideal for the insert of a diy n95 mask?** A: What you could do is add it to the inside of an existing N95 mask to help protect against OV. Activated charcoal is used to filter organic and inorganic vapors. ## Frequently Bought Together - Breathe Naturally Universal Cut to Fit Carbon Activated Air Filter - Replacement Charcoal Filters - Pre Filter Carbon Sheet for Air Purifier, Vent Filters & More - Made in USA (Pack of 1, 16x48) - UBeesize Air Vent Filters, 120" x 12" Cut to Size Air Filter Material (50+ Filters), MERV 8 Triple Vent Filter Kit for Home Floor, Grilles, Ceiling, HVAC Furnace Vents, With 48PCs Adhesive Hook Tape - Lisol Complete Air Vent Filters Kit- 98‘’ x 18'' Electrostatic Media With 157" of Installation Tape 36+ Filters per Roll for HVAC, AC & Heating Intake Registers & Grilles --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.br/products/266278379-16x48-cut-to-fit-activated-carbon-filter-sheet-1-pack](https://www.desertcart.com.br/products/266278379-16x48-cut-to-fit-activated-carbon-filter-sheet-1-pack) --- *Product available on Desertcart Brazil* *Store origin: BR* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
