What drillbit size?** A: I used an SDS drill and bit for this big hole. Can't remember the size but dowel outside diameter minus one millimeter is a good start. Try the dowel (needs to be a tight fit) and then enlarge the hole as required. I'm lucky in that I have a number of large bits. If you don't and you will not need the bits for future jobs then try using cheap SDS bits They may be cheaper than cheap conventional masonry bits. **Q: Can the pipe be bended** A: Have not tried to bend the pipe and don't know the amount of bend you wish to apply. Assume it would have to be fairly large radius to allow the door and rollers to still function as the roller brackets do not swivel. It is a steel pipe so that with the correct tools it should be capable of shallow bends without distorting the pipe. **Q: What are the cylindrical wood pieces for???** A: We are not 100% sure but they may be for floor guidance. We have been very pleased with the way the sliding door functions and so far have not had any issues in relation to the sliding apparatus. **Q: Can this hold a 45mm (4.5 cm) fire door?
