It has a pleasant smell, kind of minty, but I'd be careful if youre sensitive to fragrances because it's not light. It leaves a cooling sensation on your skin which I worried about but a whole bottle later and I didn't run isn't any issues with it. Sometimes I use it on my whole body, sometimes just intimate areas, depends on how I feel that day but the cooling sensation does give you a bit of pep, it's energizing.
