These are effortless and easy. The hardest part is tying the string to the kite, I would do that at home before you go out and use it. We took ours to the beach and I literally opened it (with no sticks or assembling) and the wind just took it without my having to move a foot. My 18 month old even held the handle (I do not recommend as you will have to chase it down when they let go 😅).
