Review: Works great! - I bought an X-pole when I was used to using brass poles in the studio, plus I have horribly sweaty palms so I had to buy this. I got the hot pink one in XS (I have small hands!) and it's a little bit tight. It's good though because then it won't slip around. I tested it out on the pole, it really helps a lot but I guess my left hand is weak so it doesn't really work when I do reverse moves. I haven't tried sliding down the pole with it yet (haven't had the time to practice as I just moved) but I'd imagine there would be a horrendous sound. If the music is loud enough it should cover it ;) I'm not too sure if sliding down the pole is even possible with it though as the tack REALLY works!

**Q: I want to use these for deadlifting instead of pole dancing.  I am a big 300lb guy who wants a better grip on the bar when lifting 500+ lbs, any good?**
A: I am 5'4" / 140 and I'm deadlifting again - would these be good for barbell work?

A: i would go for small a little room is better i found because they will tear apart ... i found pole grip works better but again its dosnt discriminate on what it grips lol

**Q: I have really sweaty palms, are these gloves a big help with my issue**
A: I would suggest using talc or babypowder on your palms prior to using these. They won't fix your sweaty palms, but they'll make an unbreathable barrier so it doesnt affect your grip.

**Q: Are these heat and fire resistant?**
A: THEY'RE lightly coated in tack, they may be heat resistant but fire would destroy them.

I ordered these gloves a couple days an and they just came today. They work really well — my hands sweat a lot when working out, and dry hands doesn’t work for me. I have the strength and flexibility, but there were some moves that I just couldn’t get because I kept slipping off the pole (e.g.: butterfly). I will say though, buy the next size up. I have baby hands and I followed the size chart measurements so I thought XS would work. Though it fits my palms nicely, the gloves pull down on the skin between my fingers (it hurts and is very uncomfortable). I ordered the next size up; based on the reviews and a days experience with the gloves, I would recommend them to my pole sisters! I’ll post an update after I’ve worn them for a couple of months.
