My local supermarkets unfortunately don't stock these huge 1kg or even the slightly smaller 400g bags and I had been having real trouble getting cumin in anything above 100g at a time even in the nearest city. This also works out at much better value buying in bulk like this, I reseal the bag using a hot wire / vacume sealer with as little air in the bag as I can to help keep the spices fresh for as long as possible having filled up my jar.
