When combined with tube nuts and flaring tool, coils are an economical solution for shops that want to build their own lines, custom lengths or non-standard applications. NiCopp is a nickel-copper alloy brake tubing that meets SAE Standard J1047 and ISO 4038; meeting all international and U.S. requirements for brake tubing. This alloy is approximately 9.2% nickel, 1.4% iron, 0.8% manganese, and 88.6% copper. Under the UNS system, this alloy is designated as UNS C70600. NiCopp therefore has the strength and structural integrity of steel lines but with the added benefit of being much more corrosion resistant. NiCopp is also easier to bend and form than steel tubing. Nickel-copper, commonly referred to as '90-10 copper', has been used on several European vehicle brake systems since the 1970's, including: Volvo, Audi, Porsche, and Aston Martin. Did all new brake and fuel.linrs on 71 nova. Getting ready to do the same on a 56 stepwise. Flares perfect o. The first try, and you can bend it with your hands. No mire tube benders. Not only can you bend it with your hands,but being copper coated on the inside and the outside guarantee it won't rust out in the future. I am using this as a gas line because the ethanol gas creates so much rust with steel products.The amazon price can't be beat,either. ### ⭐ Do not buy, collapses when you try and bend it with a bender *by S***2 on April 21, 2020* I bought 2 rolls of this product to make fuel lines for a customer's car during an EFI conversion. I read all sorts of reviews (not necessarily of this product), watched video's, etc. on the benefits of using Nicopp line, so i thought that this would be a good way to go. I was making a feed system for a multi carb (throttle body) set up and decided to do some test flares and bends, the flare went ok but the bend immediately collapsed just before the radius. My bender wasn't/isn't a real good one so I thought that perhaps this was the problem and I do have another one which I have bent literally hundreds of feet of tubing with previously, so I tried that; exactly the same result. I tried some different lengths thinking that perhaps I was doing something wrong but each time got the same result. I then went and dug up some 3/8 aluminum and mild steel line I had around the shop and tried them, they bent perfectly, so I am left with the belief that it is this line itself. So, now I get to go and find some mild steel line...
