An added bonus to these type of batteries is they don't leak, this is important because if the clock is only used for occasional travels and then perhaps stored away, you may forget to remove AAA batteries which indeed do leak and then destroy whatever they are fitted to. Reviews of other clocks on sale here say that they make an annoying beep every time you push the backlight button to view the time, this one doesn't i'm happy to say. Very happy with my purchase and have no hesitation recommending both the clock and the seller. Thank you.

I was suspicious when it arrived as the packaging did not look right and the replacement confirmed that the first one had indeed been 'recycled'. This is not the first time I have been sold a 'used' item. I do not know why desertcart does this; it pisses me off.

A: This clock is relatively thin and runs on button batteries. The current volume is the maximum it can reach, about 75dB. There's a hole on the back of the clock for sound output. Please make sure it's not blocked.

**Q: Can the backlight be always on?**
A: No, this clock has a 10 - second backlight. Press and release the orange "SNOOZE" button when you need it. The backlight will turn on and stay lit for 10 seconds, then turn off automatically to save battery.

**Q: Why doesn't the alarm go off?**
A: It might be due to Weekend Mode. If the alarm doesn't sound, check two things: ensure it's on (an icon will show), and see if Weekend Mode is enabled. If it is, the alarm only rings on weekdays.

**Q: What should I do if the week on the clock is incorrect?**
A: You just need to long press and hold the first alarm button to start seeing the screen numbers flashing, and you can change the year at this time (this year is 2026).
