I love this old fashion sound with a trumpet solo.Luis Miguel's interpretation of Manzanero's songs earns my applause. "No Existen Limites", "De Quien Es Usted", "Lo Que Queda De Mi" show amazing vocals and wonderful symphony sound.I think that the song "Siento" could have success in the english market. Background vocals of the well known gospel group Take Six highlight the production."Tal Vez Me Mientes" is different from all, it has disco influences, reminds me Earth Wind and Fire sound of the late 1970s.So my final conclusion regarding this cd is: it's a fantastic cd. I gave it 5 stars for the quality: from the music all the way to the musicians and audio production. Everything is first class. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Luis Miguel's New not as good as Complices... *by J***A on October 5, 2010* I am the last one to say something negative about Luis Miguel. I've listened this CD several times, trying to figure what went correct, what went wrong, if it's the artists fault or not. And there is a reason for this: Complices, for example, does stand out as being a much more rewarding album.The BEST material of the CD are the ballads. I wish the whole record would have been Manzanero's ballads. They fit his voice perfectly. The strings are good. However, the pieces are too short, and one gets the feel like they just end when you are getting into the mood. In fact, there are not many pieces in this record that would go above the duration of 3 minutes. For a ballad that is not really much.The lighter pieces of the disc, the material didn't attract me that much. Not catchy enough, not melodic enough. But is that the singer's fault? - I don't think so. Luis Miguel lifts this material up as much as possible, and nobody else could have done such a job. The pointing finger here goes to those who didn't provide him what he would have deserved. Perhaps he had the 'best men' around, but this time they were not worth the money.I believe in this album Luis Miguel didn't quite get what he had asked for and what he had wanted. Possibly for this reason he wished not to give a name for this album. Yes, this album actually doesn't have a name! Without Manzanero's touch this album would have been in danger.The expectations are already on the next release. Yes, some songs do sound like his old ones and Luismi should switch up his style. However, it wasn't really that bad I mean I liked 7 out 10 songs, which is pretty good for a 10 song album. I guess Luismi is scared that by switching his style he would lose some fans or maybe this is the only thing he knows. I mean not everyone who switches their style are going to be successful, but life is about taking chances. But who knows maybe the next album he will switch up, maybe if he gets enough criticism.
