Really loved having them because I could transfer clothing from my suitcase to a drawer and cabinet easily. I originally thought packing cubes were for compressing more clothes in tighter places, but quickly realized the real advantage is that your clothing items are together in one space, and easily moved. They are lightweight and yet really durable. I appreciate the double zippers so you can open just one side of the cube for access if you want.I did a pretty good job at not overpacking, and had room for all my clothes with this set. I will most likely purchase a second set to have extras when two of us travel together - can highly recommend!

**Q: What is the point of these bags?  Dont they take up more room in a suitcase?**
A: I spend 150 nights+ a year in hotels. Cubes are a lifesaver.  You can pack more into a suitcase with them , and TSA can go through your bag without fondling your clothes. Once at your destination, move the cubes from case to drawers and you' unpacked.

**Q: Wouldn't these be a bit more useful if they the set came in 4 colors to help more rapidly identify them?**
A: YES!  You'd think assorted colors would be the DEFAULT option given what these are used for. 
 Maybe they're hoping you'll buy a 4-pack of each color, but I really can't justify that many.

**Q: Has anyone tried to wash these? I've seen other similar products washed and the review photos show them being very damaged afterwards.**
A: I washed them as soon as I received them -- they came through fine. I think I put them in a laundry bag on the Delicate cycle.

**Q: Are the various sizes useful? Or is one size superior to the others?**
A: Various sizes are useful to pack one type of clothing, undergarments in one, socks in another, pants in another, however same size bags come in handy for you to plan outfits for long trips and just unpack one outfit a day, that’s what I do anyway:)

I bought a set of packing cubes for my entire family in different colors so ever has an easy time finding their stuff when we travel. Each set had a large, medium, and small size packing cube and this worked perfectly for everyone. Except my husband who disliked the large and small sizes and wants his stuff only in the medium size. So I bought a set of these Amazon basics packing cubes that are the exact size of the size medium of the other set and now he's happy that he can have all his stuff in medium cubes :).
