Just enough texture to the carbon shaft and it’s super light. It enters and exits the water smoothly and quietly and the infinite adjustability (within the range) is perfect to get it just right. As you can see in the second and third photo, they thicken and reinforce the tips of the blades which is nice to see and gives me even more peace of mind from a durability standpoint.
