**Q: Looking to make a wood magnetic kitchen knife rack. Would these be strong enough assuming a 2-3mm gap between magnet and blade of a 300g knife?**
A: No, the penetration rate of the neodymium magnet is very low. It is recommended that you use two magnets each location and reduce the interval to 1mm or buy stronger magnets.

**Q: need to place on the inside of a 6mm glass window  will they hold a 300 gram flat metal butterfly on the outside of the glass**
A: Yes, this magnet can hold 500 gram with 6mm gap.

**Q: I've bought a pack, and they are all the same polarity. Can I buy some with the opposite polarity? (I want the magnets to attract each other)**
A: The magnets will be very difficult to get apart from each other if they have opposite polarity.  Please try to use a steel part to attract with the magnet.

Purchased these to hold a 90cm x 30cm furniture board onto the front of the storage area underneath a campervan rock and roll bed. The hardest decision was deciding which ‘strength’ magnets to purchase as obviously they had to cope with the forces of braking and/or potholes in the road etc. I initially used four of these magnets but they were so strong that we could not pull the board off the metal bedframe. We settled on only using two of the magnets. Even then my wife has to really heave the panel off. Amazingly good.
