Review: Seems Legit - My biggest concern about ordering this was whether or not I'd actually be getting what I'm paying for. I opened a capsule and it had a white powder inside. My understanding is that this form of resveratrol is supposed to be white and if it is brown then it has gone bad. So it passed that test. I tasted it, but I'm not sure what genuine resveratrol is supposed to taste like. It tasted kind of chalky. David Sinclair said that resveratrol doesn't dissolve well in water; that is why he mixes it with yogurt. So I tried dissolving it in water and it indeed did not dissolve well in water. So I tried dissolving it in a little olive oil and it dissolved in the oil. So it does appear to be genuine resveratrol. If it had been some kind of ground up chalk or something then I don't think it would have dissolved in the oil. I can't vouch for its effectiveness yet since I just bought it this week. I'm taking it with NMN. If I notice any improvements in health that might seem related to these two supplements then I will update this review.

**Q: About the product: Each 250 mg provides 248 mg pure transresveratrol. Prod desc. says: A 500mg capsule delivers 495mg of bioactive transresveratrol. ?**
A: The description on the bottom of the page refers to general information about our products.-  "A 500 mg capsule delivers 495 mg of bioactive trans-resveratrol" is just an example that refers to our 500 mg product.  A 250 mg capsule provides 248 mg of trans-resveratrol as stated on the product description (on top of the page), on the label image and on the bottle image.   Regardless, we'll change the above from 500 to 250.

**Q: How is the product stored prior to shipping and how much potency will it lose from the shipping?**
A: When stored at room temperature (68°F-75°F) in a dark dry place, the shelf-life of pure trans-resveratrol is two years. The product will start deteriorating after two years.
We manufacture a new batch every 2-3 months. That means the minimum shelf life remaining is about 90% or above. 
Stability tests have shown that the product can sustain temperatures of above 100°F for periods of 10-12 days without deteriorating. 
Prior to shipping Mega Resveratrol is stored at 40°F-45°F.
The product does NOT lose potency during transit unless exposed to conditions that are beyond the conditions described above. 
Recommended storage: Unopened sealed bottles (or powder bags/jars) that are intended to be used over a longer time period (6-12+ months), may be stored in the refrigerator. 
Open bottles/jars should be stored at room temperature as described above.
