The door magnet has two wires that connect to the two wires of the door lock lead. We are not using a request to exit button. Power and door magnet connections were made, it started working right away. The remotes were already paired, so you don't have to do anything. I didn't use the Wi-Fi connection, either. But the power adapter is connected to a smart outlet that can be turned on and off remotely through an alarm app. This was a perfect solution for what the customer wanted. The remote control is superior to it's previous model and transmits the lock and unlock signal at a greater distance. A negative point is the accidental activation if the remote is carried in the pocket.
