Do not walk, stand or jump on the airbed or use it as a trampoline. 02. Keep pets away from the air mattress. Pets can puncture the surface of the bed. 03. Make sure the area is flat, level, clean and free of sharp objects. To avoid puncture or damage to the airbed, never drag the airbed across the floor or floor. Thanks!** A: I borrowed a Shrunks bed from a friend before purchasing the Intex. At the time, my son was 18 months old and too big for the pack n' play. In the Shrunks bed, he kept scooting out of the top because the bumpers are only on the sides. The Shrunks bed does fold down a bit smaller than the Intex and does have an electric pump, but I couldn't justify the price difference (shop around, I got the Intex for about $35 at Walmart). The Intex vinyl seems thicker than the Shrunks, it has bumpers on all 4 sides, and the mattress comes out which makes changing sheets easier (and means that when your child doesn't need the bumpers any more you can just take the mattress). I typically use an electric pump that have for another mattress to blow it up and it goes quickly; I've had to use the manual pump once and it does take some time to blow up. We've used the Intex for more than a half-dozen trips in the past year and it's held up great. I'd definitely buy another. **Q: Does this bed fold down small enough that it would be reasonalbe to pack in luggage for a plane, checked luggage I wouldn't try carry on.** A: Yes I think you could put it in checked baggage depending on what else you were packing in that suitcase. The smallest I got it folded up to was 16" L x 10" W x 8" Tall and it weighs about 9lbs. **Q: Can you purchase a replacement mattress? Ours has a leak** A: I need one too! These beds are great, but unfortunately the mattresses leak pretty soon after purchase :( I would love to just buy the mattress insert. **Q: Does this bed have a strong smell upon opening? Does it take long for smell to go away? What is it made of? Thanks!** A: We could smell the plastic smell right when it came out of the box, but it didn't last very long at all. I didn't notice the smell after the bed had been out of the box a few hours.
