In this one, the kids sort through size (big, medium, small), shapes (circle, triangle, square) and then color (grey, black, yellow). One day we read this and do sensory bins with a shape bin, and a button bin. One day we glue buttons to a firetruck, or the dots of a dalmatian. We read it each day again until we move on to the next MathStart book. Great for PreK. I think it would be too simplistic for a kinder-gardener however. ### ⭐ Mathematical error in a kids math book.. *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on October 12, 2018* I purchased this book to read to my Preschool class. I am AGHAST that the math is incorrect. The 3 firefighters are looking for sets of buttons for their coats and the book says " But we've got to have four sets". No. You only need three sets. I hope parents who read this story to their kids catch this mistake. I am disappointed in my purchase.
