For that price, totally worth it. The mats seem durable and will definitely last a while. They all fit together well.The 48 pack on amazon comes with 4 12-packs. Each set of 12 has 6 black and 6 grey tiles. Each tile has two straight edge pieces.The inconsistencies are with the color and texture. I believe this is inevitable due to selling 4-12 packs together. As seen in the picture there is an obvious difference in color. However this 48 pack was only $150... keep that in mind. You get what you pay for, and I'm happy with it. If I was to arrange it like a checker board I doubt the inconsistencies would even be noticible.For the price these are a great deal. Oh and don't forget to buy carpet tape if you are going to put these on concrete... this will stop any moving around of the tiles.Good to go. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for home gym *by on Reviewed in the United States August 9, 2020* These mats are perfect for my use with a home gym.Like many people across the country due to covid, I've decided to cancel my gym membership and start working out at home.These mats are great. Good price, Light weight, easy to clean and Very easy to assemble. Which is great if you need to transport them or reconfigure your equipment.Now, do understand that these are not super thick heavy duty rubber mats that may be in some big gyms. You still need to take caution when dealing with heavy weights. Dropping a 50lb iron dumbbell from standing position may still damage your concrete or tile floor but should protect from lighter weights/lower drops. And they definitely prevent scuffing or scratching.They also feel nice if you like to workout bare foot or to do yoga or stretches.Assembly took less than 5 minutes. I did encounter the strange edges that would not meet up like some reviewers said but if you pay attention, you will notice some of the edgy pieces are different shaped and you just need to swap those around until you get the perfect fit.Being that they are lightweight they do wiggle around just a little bit but only towards the ends where I don't have weights/equipment on them and so far no pieces have separated from another. Nor have I noticed any rips or tears and I use non-coated iron weights on them.No need to worry about sweating heavily or possibly spilling liquid on them either as they are easily cleaned.Overall I am very satisfied with these mats and plan to buy another set or two when my home gym expands more. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for working out & cats that like to lift *by on Reviewed in the United States March 18, 2021* Pros:Not too squishy nor too thick when set on wood, laminate flooring. We have a power cage, a heavy bag, some bumper plates, and metal plates. We powerlift on these mats. None of our equipment wiggles from any give through the mats being squishy, though, the mats are squishy enough that when we do any major lifts without shoes on, we still feel well balanced. It's also been great for minimizing echo within the room and part of the house.Our gym room is more rectangular, but the mats filled the room nearly perfectly. Be sure to know your square footage.Fits perfectly in front of our closet door in our gym room. There's a few inch gap between the door and the floor. The door glides perfectly over it, not even grazing the mats.Despite the little cross bumps all over the mats, it's still smooth enough for us to move equipment when necessary.Our cats love these mats potentially too much. Even our grumpiest, eldest cat curls up in random spots on the mats to lay down and nap for hours on end. They keep clawing it up and, despite having basically chicken talons, they haven't been able to horribly tear them up to the point of pieces being shredded all over or being torn through to create holes.Easy to clean. We used our microfiber mop head and rung it out really well. Kicked on our central unit fan and it dried in no time. So far, we're losing this battle, but we're getting there!If you have a cat that is basically a small dinosaur, be prepared for them to lay on the mat with you and bully you the entire time. They will let you know this is their gym floor, this is their mat, and you better do your best on it.They don't seem to come in more rectangular sizes to better fit rooms that are not actual squares. More diverse sizing would be helpful, but it's not the worst.The smell of the mats will fill the room. I've light mopped with a VERY well rung out microfiber mop and Pinesol. (This was due to cat accident and decided to disinfect the rest while I was at it.) The smell is still there, but not nearly as potent as before. It's not a bad smell, but it can be overwhelming. It's spring time for us, so we crack the windows for no less than an hour and it helps greatly.
