Durability: Over the years I have had several pair and never lost a button, had a torn seam, or a broken zipper. They keep their color and do not fray. Essentially last forever. I have only given these away when I gained or lost weight and suspect their new owners got a lot of wear out of them too. Belt: Despite another reviewer disparaging the belts I like them. They do what belts are meant to do, keep your pants up. You can always use a different belt if you prefer a different look. The loops accept a normal sized belt, but not a wide belt. Care: Wash on normal cycle dry on normal cycle. Leave the belt in preferably buckled so it does not get snagged in the washer. Alternatively just rinse them, hand wring, and hang up to dry.
