A four piece Viner’s knife set for under a tenner is a total bargain. Viners is a British brand, although I suspect these were made in the far east. However, the packaging and quality is consistent with the Viner brand. They look a bit weird with squared off ends, it it makes sense; much safer particularly for those of us suffering with arthritis and grip difficulty. If the knife slips, it’s unlikely to cause serious damage without the point. All are sharp. No blade protectors, but not expected at this price point. Best part; substantial comfortable handles which provide great grip. Again, u likely to slip even when used with wet hands. Easy to wash in warm soapy water, but also dishwasher safe. The four different sized blades mean they’re ideal for use for anything from peeling fruit or veg to slicing meat or root veg.
