The Tab still works great (always running stock Android based custom ROM's) and I can't justify getting a newer tablet just for the sake of getting a new tablet. This is just a dock - it doesn't come with a charger, cord, or any other peripheral components. There is no HDMI on this dock - there's just the power cord port and audio port for connecting your own speakers (which I haven't used. This dock only works with the original Galaxy Tab 10.1 (I have a GT-P7510). It won't work with any cases on the Tab (I have a slim - low profile OEM Samsung case and it won't fit with the case installed). I'm confused by all of the negative comments. It doesn't appear that this product has been misrepresented as coming with accessories. The fact that some customers are buying this for later model Tab's and then griping when the dock doesn't fit, strikes me as being a bit silly....shame on them for not doing their homework on this item before purchasing it! Works great as a stand and recharging station. I DID have to take a rotary bit to the tabs on each end to make it hold my Samsung 10.2 properly, but that took all of one minute.
