The brush is awesome. I straighten out my beard with it and use it for my hair occasionally. The comb is great too. It is just the right size to carry in my pocket in case I need it. I use it for my beard, and it's perfect. First, I use the larger bristles first then I use the finer side. My beard didn't get caught on any of it which I had a problem with when using plastic combs- hated them. I'm glad I upgraded to this. I've used other beard combs and brushes in the past, but this is my new go to. From day 1, the cheap brown paint was flaking off, but did the brush properly exfoliate and keep my beard nice? Yes. The combination of the beard comb is... well... it's there. It's a cheap piece of wood with some grooves cut in it that does nothing your average comb wouldn't do. That said, the boar's hair brush is worth it for the price of the set. I'd buy it again, but the cost reflects the workmanship. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Mixed feelings after two weeks *by V***. on Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2017* I like this brush very much EXCEPT for the fact that I've now had it for around two weeks and it's still shedding some hairs. The shedding was worse during the first week and then it slowed down. I had read other reviews where people complained about this and others that had no problems with excessive shedding. I ordered a second one several days ago and I'm going to see if it also sheds excessively. If it doesn't the first one is definitely going back before my 30 days are up. If it were not for the excessive shedding, I would definitely give this product FIVE STARS.
