These insulin needles are great! They screw on to your insulin pens easily and have a great safety shield to protect you from accidentally getting stuck with the needle. It has a magenta color on the shield as well, to let you know it’s ready to use. Once you press down and use the needle, the magenta color is gone and the shield won’t retract, protecting you from getting stuck.

Unfortunately, these are not the best choice for insulin pens. My husband reports that several times the needle didn't spring. I chose them due to the affordability but I will just have to bite the bullet and go with another brand.
