These traps DO NOT catch the larvae. That's not really an issue since no matter how much I've sprayed everywhere with the approprate spray (the spray needs to have pyrethrins in it to work on the larvae), I'll never get all of the larvae. I was intrigued because this was the only one that claimed to trap both male and female moths (all other traps only trap males) so I gave it a shot. Assembled and put in the little felt disc as instructed and put it on the carpet in an area where I knew there was moth traffic. After 2 weeks, I had 1 moth. So I then opened up and put one from Trapro right next to it, and after a week it Trapro had 4 moths and the GreenWay still had 1. Then I opened Pro-pest and put that next to the others and in a week the Pro-pest had 10 moths and the others had only gained a couple more each. My moths seem to prefer the type of trap with the pheromones integrated into the glue instead of a separate disc. Or maybe they did get attracted but kept escaping because to me the rather thick felt disc seems like a perfect landing/launchpad for the moths to get their pheromone fix and fly off again instead of getting stuck in the glue immediately. I dunno.
