Review: This pot does it all, very well. - I used a different titanium pot until recently, due to unexpected abuse (I slipped and tumbled off the trail, down into a ditch, and landed upside down on top of my backpack - the pot was inside the backpack) the pot became dented, badly, beyond repair or use. The dented pot was a less expensive, thin-walled titanium pot. I read that the Snow Peak Trek 700 is made of a thicker titanium material. This Trek 700 pot is much sturdier, and is still very, VERY LIGHTWEIGHT. A better quality pot compared to my previous, dented pot. It heats quickly, and retains heat a bit better than the previous pot. It will take more cooking use to evaluate, but burnt food (ramen, egg) seems less prone to stick to this pot, so far. The pot lid is also quality titanium, does not snap-fit on the pot, yet remains planted on the pot while cooking. The lid has a drain hole, for draining off pasta, and a sturdy side-loop lid handle. The pot handles fold flat for packing, and open to provide a very sturdy grip for the pot. The handles do get hot while cooking (pot holder recommended). When packing up, the Trek 700 holds my ISO butane canister and stove burner under the lid, with a little extra space left inside for packing small items. The 700 ml capacity makes it large enough for boiling water, cooking pasta and ramen, plus just the right diameter for comfortably drinking coffee or tea (as a mug) without spilling. Pouring hot water from this pot into a cup, or to rehydrate a trail meal, is easy to do. I plan to cover the lid handle with something non-snaggy to protect the mesh carry bag from getting snagged or ripped.
Review: Awesome lightweight cook pot - This is an awesome lightweight cookset. Perfect size for one person. Just right for cooking oatmeal, mac n' cheese, tea, whatever, while backpacking. The small canisters for my jet stove fit inside it for better use of space, which is awesome. Seems really durable, and we'll see how the handles hold up. I've seen friends with similar gigs with the handles, and those held up for a long time. Lid is nice too for straining water for stuff like cooking macaroni. The mesh sac that this comes with is nice too because the pot will get a layer of carbon on it if it's used on a campfire, so it keeps the black soot from getting your backpack dirty. (The carbon buildup is good because it helps with heating stuff faster.) The lid seems pretty good too, although it clings to the pot almost too well with the two little clasps on it so when you're taking it out of the hot coals you have to kindof tap it off quick with your fingers. Overall this is awesome for lightweight backpacking, and will be in my gear every time.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super light, durable as heck.
*by J***S on February 15, 2020*

Added this to my Ultralight hiking setup. Used to take a Jetboil with me, but when I saw this I decided to buy it along with a small foldable stove that fits onto the fuel bottle comparable to a MSR Pocket Rocket. It’s been on multiple hikes with me and can use it for coffee, boiling water, or whatever else I can throw at it. Can even use it over a small fire. Very happy.
