When cooking with a sun oven, two main things matter: the size of the pot and the material and color of the cookware.This covered roaster checks both of those boxes.The size is spot on it fits in my oven like it was made for it. The dark enamel finish is also ideal. Black enamelware (Graniteware) absorbs sunlight and converts it to heat much better than shiny pans, which tend to reflect light and reduce efficiency. Glass will work, but in my experience it heats up a bit slower.I’ve always liked enamelware in general. It’s lightweight, durable, easy to clean, and holds up well over time.
