If a ladybugs ends up on the product, however, it will get stuck. Most flying insects were attracted to the yellow color. I would think it would work. **Q: Will this be good for a fruit fly problem in a house? No plants.** A: Yes, that is what we bought them for. We had purchased new dirt for some plants both inside and outside in the garden. It turns out the gnats, or fruit flies, or whatever, came with the dirt. These sticky pads attract them and they cannot get free. The ultimate goal for the garden is to cover it when the growing season is over and kill them in the dirt.
