Left with only front speakers, the lack of sound and quality of it from the original speakers was bothering me. It's an old bike, and I've put well over 40k miles on it, I'm getting old, and I didn't want to spend a bunch of money upgrading the sound system. I chose these speakers after some research to make sure the fact they are 2 ohm speakers would be okay. The swap went easily, since I had experience removing the front fairing, and the HogTunes speakers fit exactly with little effort. With these speakers, I notice I don't need to turn up the volume as far. The frequency range is probably comparable to the original speakers, but the sound is fuller, and they sound okay at freeway speeds and light headwinds/crosswinds. For $130, I'm satisfied.
