Lost my charger, got a replacement here on desertcart. Charged the vacuum overnight and had a green light this morning. Hooked up the unit and spent 45 minutes cleaning a 14 X 5, portable, above ground pool. Vacuum did a fantastic job cleaning out the dirt, leaves, bugs and other debris. Emptied the bag four times. Battery lasted throughout. Very happy with the results and highly recommend for similar type pools. Note 1: Take the vacuum out of the water quickly to avoid spilling debris back into pool. Really works. Note 2: Let the vacuum charge fully. Light turns green at the plug port. Note 3: This vacuum is well worth the money. The pool came with a circulation pump with an internal filter that does a pretty good job but doesn’t get everything out of the water and eventually some stuff falls to the bottom and needs to be cleaned out manually. I had been trying to clean the debris off the bottom with a fine mesh dip net. Finally decided to upgrade a few weeks ago and give this vacuum a try. It works great. It is simple to assemble and charge up. Has plenty of suction power for small debris and up to medium sized leaves. I haven’t had to try to suck up big oak leaves or anything like that. Didn’t rate the suction power because I don’t have anything to compare it to. Suction seems more than adequate to me. Picks up everything on the bottom of you move it slowly and don’t stir up what you are trying to suck up. Runs for a long time per battery charge. At least 20 mins at full power. Have used it daily for a few weeks. The fine mesh bag is easy to remove and clean out with a hose or in the sink. Highly recommend. You can vacuum while in the pool, one handed, while drinking a beer. Is it defective or I need a specific power adapter to use it with?** A: when i first plugged in mine (last week) the light didn't come on. I left it plugged in at it worked great. I just now plugged it in for the second time and I got a light. maybe it might just need to have some charge for the light to come on. I used a battery charger with a USB port rated for 5V 1A **Q: Does it come with a pole** A: It does come with a 3’ pole, but I found it’s much better to get in the pool with it and walk it around. Happy customer here! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great, lasts not so great *by G***G on September 13, 2025* This vacuum worked great for two summers. It was used two to three times a week on average. We have a small 14’ round pool and this is really the perfect size for it. It’s more like a dustbuster than a shop vac so keep your expectations realistic. It takes about 15 minutes to do the whole pool. Maybe less if it’s not too dirty. Gotta go slow though to give it time to work. We were very pleased with the suction power considering it’s cordless and pretty inexpensive. Ideally you would want to run a vacuum hose through your pool filter for more power but these small above ground pools don’t have an option for that unless you create an adapter yourself. I did that with our old 18’ pool but this little vacuum works fine and is easy to use and clean. Lasted about 30-40 minutes per charge. We’re impressed with it and will probably buy another one next year unless we decide to spend more. The only complaint is it only lasted a little less than two full seasons. Still not bad for the price.
