Review: Light plastic - overall it looks like good quality. One drawback is that the roof panels come in four pieces instead of two, which makes installation a little less convenient. Also, don’t let the strong sun beat directly on it for too long—I live in Florida, and the intense sun can cause holes to form within just a few months. I would suggest painting it with a good exterior latex paint to help protect it and make it last longer. Other than that, it’s a good product. ## Features - Easy to Install: Our awnings for windows come with clear instructions and pictures that make assembly and installation a breeze. Save time and effort with hassle-free installation process. We recommend having two people for the installation process - All-weather Protection: Awnings for patio provide a quick and easy solution to preventing water from seeping through doors and windows, while also shielding against rain, snow, sun, and harmful UV rays for your house and AC units - Durable & Weather-Resistant: The porch awning is made of clear hollow polycarbonate panel, ABS bracket, and aluminum bar, providing long-lasting quality and resistance to rusting and corrosion from the elements. Withstood strong winds and storms, it holds up well with added support - Attractive Design: The overhead shade brings a modern look to your home. The color matches most of the house so it can be used for residential or commercial application.Note:Please make sure that the size you measure is correct before purchasing - It provides reliable protection for your doors and windows, keeping them dry and secure ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0855CD5QM | | Best Sellers Rank | #2,782 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #1 in Patio Awnings | | Brand | VINGLI | | Brand Name | VINGLI | | Color | Brown Board & Black Bracket | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 4,688 Reviews | | Fabric Type | Polyester | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 40"D x 40"W x 40"H | | Item Type Name | door awning | | Item Weight | 2.72 kg | | Manufacturer | VINGLI | | Manufacturer Part Number | newawning | | Material | Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, Aluminum, Polycarbonate | | Material Type | Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, Aluminum, Polycarbonate | | Minimum Clearance | 9.05 inches | | Model Number | newawning | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Operation Mode | Manual, found in image | | Pattern | Solid | | Product Dimensions | 40"D x 40"W x 40"H | | Projection Distance | 9.05 inches | | Size | 40x40 Inch | | Style Name | Modern | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** VINGLI - **Color:** Brown Board & Black Bracket - **Material:** Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, Aluminum, Polycarbonate - **Product Dimensions:** 40"D x 40"W x 40"H - **Size:** 40x40 Inch ## Images ![Window Awning Door Canopy, 40" x 40" Window Awning Overhead Modern Polycarbonate Cover Outdoor Front Porch Patio Canopy UV Rain Snow Sunlight Protection Hollow Sheet/Brown - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61W6KyD56LL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Functional and Stylish Upgrade for My Home *by K***R on September 22, 2023* I recently made the decision to install the VINGLI Window Awning Door Canopy Exterior (30" x 40"), and it has truly transformed the look and feel of my home while delivering exceptional protection against the elements. The plastic panels are fairly lightweight and don't seem like they'll be durable for years to come. The brackets are just plastic as well. When we get a hard rain the water actually gets inside the ribs of the panels. If that freezes... well, they'll just split right open. Anyway, it wasn't hard to assemble, just a little awkward holding everything up until you screw it in. It looks as pictured and keeps the rain off my door, so pretty ok for now. We'll see how they hold up in winter. ## Frequently Bought Together - VINGLI Window Awning Door Canopy, 40" x 40" Window Awning Overhead Modern Polycarbonate Cover Outdoor Front Porch Patio Canopy UV Rain Snow Sunlight Protection Hollow Sheet/Brown - 40 inch x 80 inch Window Awning Door Canopy Polycarbonate Cover Outdoor Front Door Patio Sun Shetter (Brown 1pcs) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.br/products/186469751-window-awning-door-canopy-40-x-40-window-awning-overhead](https://www.desertcart.com.br/products/186469751-window-awning-door-canopy-40-x-40-window-awning-overhead) --- *Product available on Desertcart Brazil* *Store origin: BR* *Last updated: 2026-10-13*
