Bad batch from suppliers. - I have used the Velda Pro fish feeder for seven years. Excellent kit. It stopped working this year. The control panel was placed in an electrical box outside.. Brought a replacement at £259 all good so far. Then found out the control panel would not hold the time. You could set the feed times. And how much , but wouldn’t hold the time. Tried three different control panels. Sent emails to the Velda company, no reply’s. We now know there’s a bad batch of control panels in the county. So sadly had to return the product. Can’t find a replacement that is equal, that runs on mains electric. Do not want a a battery item. Review: Tried 2, both faulty - The timer does not work, you set the time and it fails to maintain the correct current time, therefore feeding times are erratic and un-reliable, it will feed during the night for example. ## Features - AUTOMATIC POND FISH FEEDER – UP TO 20 TIMES DAILY – Automatically feeds pond fish the right amount up to 20 times per day for healthy, consistent growth. - IDEAL FOR HOLIDAYS & BUSY SCHEDULES – Feeding resumes automatically after power failure — your fish are never forgotten even during long periods away. - 3 LITRE WATERTIGHT FEED CONTAINER – Large 3 litre transparent container keeps all food types dry and fresh, clearly showing remaining food levels at a glance. - 4 DOSAGE SCREWS – ALL FOOD TYPES – Four dosage screws accommodate pellets from 3-12mm, sticks, flakes and natural food — suitable for all pond fish species. - EASY TO PROGRAMME & SIMPLE TO INSTALL – Digitally programme feeding frequency and portions with ease — mounts on a ground stake, wall or pole in minutes. ## Images ![Velda Fish Feeder Pro – 3L Automatic Outdoor Pond Fish Feeder – Up to 20 Feeds Daily – Ideal for Holidays – Watertight Container & 4 Dosage Screws Included - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81vwLSDgBXL.jpg) ![Velda Fish Feeder Pro – 3L Automatic Outdoor Pond Fish Feeder – Up to 20 Feeds Daily – Ideal for Holidays – Watertight Container & 4 Dosage Screws Included - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71lewTV2EeL.jpg) ![Velda Fish Feeder Pro – 3L Automatic Outdoor Pond Fish Feeder – Up to 20 Feeds Daily – Ideal for Holidays – Watertight Container & 4 Dosage Screws Included - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71i2dV46lVL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Failure of control panel. Bad batch from suppliers. *by A***R on 7 October 2022* I have used the Velda Pro fish feeder for seven years. Excellent kit. It stopped working this year. So sadly had to return the product. Can’t find a replacement that is equal, that runs on mains electric. Do not want a a battery item. ### ⭐ Tried 2, both faulty *by A***9 on 5 July 2023* The timer does not work, you set the time and it fails to maintain the correct current time, therefore feeding times are erratic and un-reliable, it will feed during the night for example. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Re: Velda 3000ml Fish Feeder Pro *by B***W on 15 August 2013* Based on the cost of the product, I would have expected a plug to be either attached to the feeder or included in the box, but this was not the case. Also, the carry handle on the feeder is quite sharp on your fingers. This is rather a big item and finding somewhere to place it is going to be a challenge - but I must admit that this is all new to me. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.br/products/183158013-velda-fish-feeder-pro-3l-automatic-outdoor-pond-fish-feeder](https://www.desertcart.com.br/products/183158013-velda-fish-feeder-pro-3l-automatic-outdoor-pond-fish-feeder) --- *Product available on Desertcart Brazil* *Store origin: BR* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
